Pumpkin patch

I absolutely love this time of year! I love the weather, the changing of the leaves, to be able to wear fall clothes, and especially to start all the holidays!! Today was such a perfectly warm day that we decided to go to my favorite pumpkin patch, the red barn and pick out pumpkins!

It was really busy today because it was Saturday, so aiden (and Jeff) got a little impatient waiting for the hayride.

We rode on a tractor through the orchard. It was so pretty. Aiden loved seeing the horses. He kept doing his horsey laugh. Haha! Silly kid!

We then were dropped off at the pumpkin patch and aiden, Jeff, and I began our search for the perfect pumpkins.

Aiden held mommys hand because she kept falling in all the holes. Why I thought heels in a pumpkin patch was a good idea is beyond me.

We looked long and hard to find the perfect pumpkins. Aiden even found his shadow!

After finding our pumpkins, we took turns going down the slide. First it was mommy and aidens turn.

And then daddy took aiden. The slide was super fast! :)

Aiden found a cool green tractor and decided he could drive!

"Bye mommy! I'm off to dig some dirt!"

We pretended to be a pumpkin.

And a ghost!

Played on the truck.

And in the hay.

We finished with homemade ice cream and apple cider. It was a perfect fall day. Love our family fun days!!

Idaho weekend

Hey everyone! First of all, I have to apologize for my long absence. My sweet baby accidentally knocked a glass of water on our computer and it has been dead ever since. I have decided to start blogging again from my phone so hopefully I can be a little bit better.
Last weekend we went up to Idaho to visit Jeff's family.

We had to stop at one of our favorite restaurants in Ashton big Judd's! If your ever in the area you'll have to stop by. Their pastrami burgers are amazing!!

We watched my brother in laws dog nala while they were on vacation for the week. Aiden loved her soft dog bed. He kept laying in it and kicking her out. Poor nala.

While jeff helped his parent fix the fence, Aiden and I went for a little ride around the field. He loved it! He is going to be my little riding buddy when he gets older.

He played at grandmas house while we watched conference. Wasn't it so amazing? I really felt like so many of the talks were just for me. I just love that God understands our needs and how to help us grow.

Becky, Connie, Ted, Jeff, and I went up to driggs on Monday for a ride. It was so beautiful. The leaves were so bright and colorful and the air had that crisp autumn smell. This time of year is my favorite time to ride.

Jeff usually only goes with us about once a year so i was so excited to have him come. Somehow he got the smallest saddle of the bunch and was a little "uncomfortable" the first half. After my mother in law switched with him he was able to enjoy himself.

One thing about riding with Jeff is you never have to worry about bears. He is so loud and crazy, he scares off anything miles from us. Haha. He is so goofy and always makes me laugh. He helps me not me not be so serious. He is truly my best friend. Love you babe! xoxo

It was such a good ride. I love riding because it is one of the only times i feel like i dont have think about anything, do anything, be anything. I get to enjoy some of the most beautiful country in the world. Be on my favorite pony and be with my favorite people. It is a little piece of heaven for me and I feel blessed to be able to do it with family.

Now it's a lazy Sunday and me and my favorite boy are watching movies. Haha! He loves his movies! Hope you all have a wonderful day!! P.s. hope you don't mind that I used some of your picture Becky!! Love you!

Lazy days!

So Jeff has the day off today which means its pj day at the Austin house! haha! I always think we are going to be so productive on his days off and do all these fun family stuff that I think of throughout the week like go to the pool, or the zoo, or go furnature shopping (that one is more fun for me:) but we just lay around and watch movies and cuddle. I love it! Lazy days are the best!

Found these photos the other day! I just love these boys! And as you can tell, they love eachother! Jeff is such a cute daddy with Aiden. He will carry him like a baby and sing and dance with him. My favorite is when he puts Aiden on his shoulders and Aiden holds onto his hair like a horse! haha! Aiden's first words were "Dadda!" I am a little jealous, but he sure loves his daddy. Aiden will cry when daddy leaves for work because he misses him. You never really know how a person will be around kids, or frankly how you will be, until you have one of your own. I am so lucky that Jeff is such a good daddy. I cant wait till Aiden is old enough for Jeff to teach him how to play sports. These too are so much alike. They both are so happy in the mornings, they both are very determined, they both are silly and think they are so funny, and they both are mommy's best friends! Love my little family and our love our lazy pj days!

Walking and Running

Hope everyone is having a good Saturday! Today Aiden and I have been catching up on some house work. He's a good little helper.
He helped me do the dishes!

Unpack the suitcases!

And even do the laundry! haha! What a silly kid! We just got back from a week in Idaho. Jeff's sweet sister Becky had to have surgery so Jeff, Aiden and I went up to watch her four kids. I must say it was a little different than just having one baby around. Becky's kids are older so they were a lot of help around the house which was wonderful! They are so good with Aiden and he just adores them!

This is cute Austin and Aiden looking out the window! When the kids would leave for school, Aiden and I would look out the window and wave goodbye. It was so fun to see them in with their backpacks all ready to go.

Caleb and Austin would read and play games with Aiden when they got home from school. They would even take him for "walks", holding his hands while he walked all around the room. Too cute!!
We had a party every night! Thanks for letting us come up! We love you kiddos! Get feeling better Becky Boo!! Love you!
My little boy took his first steps this weekend!! He is only 9 months old and walking! I just cant believe it! Ever since he was in my tummy, Aiden has been on the go. I remember him kick, kick, kicking my ribs all day long, like he was running a race. I sure love this little kid!
Speaking of races, I ran my second half marathon last saturday! It was awesome! It was the Thanksgiving Point Half and there were tons of people. Thats one thing that I love about races, there are so many people who cheer you on and are so friendly! At about mile 11 I was getting tired and stopped for a minute to catch my breath. There are people lined up all throughout the race course and one girl starts clapping and yelling, "You can do it! Keep going!" I smiled and her and started running and finish the race strong. Thanks random girl for cheering me on! haha! I loved it! I finished the race at 2 hours 19 secs. I finished about 4 mins faster than my first race.

Jeff and Aiden meet me at the finish line! They are so wonderful! I am considering doing a full marathon in Septemeber...I am a little nervous about it, but I would love to train for one! It would be so much fun!! I am feeling very grateful today for my health. We were all sick this week and I dont think you really appreciate your health until it is gone. Luckily, we just had colds, but I really am so thankful for a healthy body, that I can run and do all the things I want to do. That I have a healthy family. I am so grateful for such a blessed life.

Life is Wonderful!!

Happy Thursday! Yesterday they began digging on our house! We are so ecstatic! Only 45 more days and we will be in our brand new house! I cant wait to start to see the colors, cabinets, carpet, and all the other options I chose materialize!

We are building in Lehi and I just love the area. It has a country feel because it is by wetlands and the tip of Utah Lake. Plus there are fields with horses and cows so it is very quiet. Five minutes down the road is the freeway which my husband loves because he travels so much for work and there is target and shopping. We went to the ward a couple weeks ago and there are tons of little kids for Aiden to play with and the people are so friendly and welcoming. I cant wait to see little Aiden boy playing in the park with his little friends. To see Jeff mowing the lawn. (which it will have to be Jeff, I cut the cable cord once with a lawn mower...I have no more lawn mowing privileges!) I cant wait to have my very own flower garden, to decorate my house, and to have BBQs on our back porch. To sum it up, I cant wait to move home!!

Is he not the cutest thing you've ever seen? I am trying to teach Aiden the word, "No". Seems it is working against me, because anytime I say "No", he laughs and thinks its a game! Haha! He has always been a boy on a mission and wants to go go go! I cant take my eyes off of him for two seconds or I find him eating dirt from the tree base, climbing up the stairs, or crawling as fast as he can towards an open door. This boy will keep me young! I dont know how he has so much energy but  he loves to play, jump, crawl, and stand all by himself!

His favorite game is to wiggle out of his little pants! He had cute cargo pants on today but kept wiggling until they came off! I think if Id let him he would crawl around in his diaper all day!

Aiden loves to give big kisses!! haha! He is such a sweet boy! I feel so blessed to be able to stay home and be a full time mommy to my little angel. I am so grateful for the best husband and best little boy a girl can ask for! Thank you for making my life so wonderful! xoxo

To Aiden Boy

Once upon a time there lived a handsome Prince.

He was loved by all the kingdom for his kindness. The Prince made all laugh because he was so silly. But the handsome Prince was very lonely.

There was a fair Princess in the kingdom. All the princes fell in love with her, but there was only one prince that she loved the most. She adored Prince Jeffy.

Prince Jeffy and Princess Tausha fell in love! They wanted to spend the rest of their lives with each other and never be apart.

So Prince Jeffy wrote the beautiful Princess a song about how much he loved her and gave her a pretty ring.

Princess Tausha said she would marry Prince Jeffy! There was happiness in all the land.

And so they were married in a beautiful castle. They promised to love each other forever and ever.

The Prince and Princess traveled to many kingdoms to find their new home.

They had so much fun playing house and even got a Cash dog to protect them from the fire breathing dragons. But they still felt there was something missing from their royal family.

And so an adorable little baby Aiden was born and the Prince and Princess fell in love with him. He made their dreams come true and their family was now perfect.

And they lived happily ever after!
